LEONI has celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Zavolzhie plant

On August 25, LEONI has celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Zavolzhie plant and has organized an Open Day for its employees and their families with live music, raffles, competitions, prizes and surprises for everybody, children and parents alike.

During the past 10 years, LEONI‘s business in Zavolzhie has constantly developed, the clients’ orders have diversified and, as a consequence, the production facility has grown more than 10 times and the number of employees more than 6 times. From 290 persons in 2008, the Company now employs approximately 1,900 people and is one of the biggest employers in the Gorodets district. From the plant in Zavolzhie, the Company produces cable harnesses for AVTOVAZ, Renault and Nissan clients.

For the 10 years anniversary of the Zavolzhie plant, the Company carefully planned challenging and diverse activities for all LEONI employees and their families – workshops, group games and surprise prizes for the children, entertainment, raffles and live music throughout the entire day for the parents.

“We are happy to celebrate 10 years since the opening of the LEONI plant in Zavolzhie together with our employees and their families. We are grateful for their commitment and dedication, which have contributed to the constant growth of our Company in Russia. We dedicate this important day to them as a token of our sincere appreciation,” stated Mr. Luc Nenon, Managing Director, LEONI RUS LLC.

At the Family Day celebration, participated more than 2,500 people , LEONI employees and their families. The event took place in the proximity of the LEONI plant.
